To install the ESP/3000 software on your HPe3000:
Step 1: Review the Installation/Download Instructions.
Step 2: Choose the file format that best suits your environment. Choose a format based on which method you will use to upload the files to your HP3000.(WRQ, Minisoft, or Binary)
Step 3: Download the installation files ESPINST and ESPSTD. Select from one of the following formats.
Reflection ‘WRQ Labels’ formatted files:
espinst.wrq: Installation program in WRQ labels format.
espstd.wrq: Store to disk file that contains the ESP programs in WRQ labels format.
Minisoft Win92 ‘LBL’ formatted files:
espinst.lbl: Installation program in Minisoft save labels format.
espstd.lbl: Store to disk file that contains the ESP programs in Minisoft save labels format.
Binary formatted files best suited for FTP:
espinst.ftp: Installation program in binary format.
espstd.ftp: Store to disk file that contains the ESP programs in binary format.
